Job summary

BrightStar Care Cleveland is seeking a dedicated Home Health Aide to provide compassionate in-home care. This role blends hands-on patient care, ADL assistance, and light transportation with RN oversight on every case.

Flexible weekend schedule; 8–12 hour shifts; on-call opportunities with stipends. Requires HHA experience, CPR, TB test, valid driver’s license; Parkinson’s care experience preferred. BrightStar offers weekly pay, benefits, training, and career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year of documented home care assistance and/or direct care experience.
• Preferred: Nursing assistant or CHHA program completion.
• Certified CPR and TB test or chest x-ray.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with mobility.
• Strong communication and HIPAA compliance.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companion care and personal care assistance.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Support sit-to-stand transfers and mobility needs.
• Accompany and transport client to lunch as needed.
• Ensure client safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the shift.
• Follow the care plan and communicate with the care team.
