Job summary

Cascades at Saint Anne in Seattle, WA, seeks a part-time housekeeper for weekend shifts (8am–4pm). You will clean resident rooms and common areas, follow infection control procedures, and support a tidy, welcoming environment for residents.

Candidates should have a High School diploma (or currently enrolled) and prior housekeeping experience in healthcare or large facilities. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and stand long hours is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, speak, and understand English.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) or currently enrolled.
• Housekeeping experience in healthcare or large facilities preferred.
• Able to move and work in confined or varied spaces.
• May be exposed to bodily fluids and communicable illnesses.
• Lift, push, or pull up to 50-100 lbs. independently.
• Stand or walk for extended periods.
• Sufficient vision and hearing (with or without assistive devices) to perform duties effectively.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms and bathrooms daily per facility standards.
• Maintain rooms in a neat, orderly condition based on resident preferences.
• Clean assigned common areas (e.g., offices, dining areas, hallways, activity spaces).
• Follow infection control procedures at all times.
• Safely store cleaning chemicals when not in use.
• Report maintenance or repair needs promptly.
• Follow direction from housekeeping supervisor on daily assignments.
• Support overall cleanliness and organization of the facility.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned.
