Job summary

Mountain Youth Academy in Tennessee seeks a part-time housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe healthcare environment for our adolescent facility. You will clean patient rooms, public areas, and offices, sanitize high-touch surfaces, replenish supplies, and follow OSHA guidelines while observing infection control standards.

The role requires a background check, fingerprinting and employment verification. Weekend shifts Fri-Sun 8:00am-4:30pm, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and understand English to perform essential job functions.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, offices, and public areas.
• Properly sanitize high-touch surfaces throughout the building.
• Replenish supplies such as soaps, paper products, and trashbags.
• Use cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, and equipment safely according to OSHA and hospital guidelines.
• Follow proper hand hygiene and personal protective equipment.
