Qualifications

• MS degree in social work, psychology or sociology required.
• Serves as an active member of the Clinical Services/Social Work department.
• Experience facilitating therapeutic process and psychoeducational groups.
• Maintains a therapeutic relationship with patients.
• Assists in maintaining a safe, clean therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapeutic process and psychoeducational groups to patients in an inpatient setting.
• Responsible for documentation of group therapy with final endorsement authorization.
• Evaluates effectiveness of clinical interventions based on daily progress notes.
• Participates in team and committee meetings as assigned.
• Monitors HIPAA information and notifies management of changes as needed.
• Ensures HIPAA training is provided to new interns.
• Provides group therapy for identified units with progress notes.
• Attends social work meetings monthly with evidence of attendance.
