Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Senior General Maintenance Worker for QIAGEN SCIENCES HQ, Germantown, with weekend-only shifts and a part-time schedule. The role focuses on hands-on maintenance, safety, and quick problem-solving to meet client needs and ensure a safe working environment.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of related experience, holds the appropriate state/city license, and can coordinate with apprentices.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Holds appropriate license/certification for the city/state of work.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs in areas such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, or electrical.
• Change bulbs, install dispensers, change filters, locks, and other minor maintenance tasks.
• May train and coordinate work of General Maintenance Apprentices and Workers.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned by account and client requirements.
