Job summary

Excel Fitness in Fort Worth Alliance TC, Fort Worth, TX is seeking staff for weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday: 6AM-2PM, 7AM-1PM, 11AM-4PM). The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe club, assisting members, and promoting membership with a friendly, professional approach.

The position may be full-time or part-time, nonexempt, involving training, cash handling, and use of tablets and POS. Candidates should be 18+, with CPR/AED certifications and Excel’s values in mind.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR Certification and AED Certification are required before working alone.
• Comfortable standing for long periods.
• Great communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Team-oriented, motivated, and well-organized.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and using a computer.
• Familiar with Excel’s mission, values, and Planet Fitness brand and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform to your best abilities during your assigned work shift.
• Monitor and maintain club cleanliness and atmosphere.
• Stay proficient in Planet Fitness mobile app use, content, and updates.
• Ensure that all proper training has been completed to operate safely and efficiently.
• Audit and balance cash drawers daily.
• Input and update member information into tablets and POS.
• Ensure members adhere to company policies and guidelines.
• Provide a safe and secure environment for all members.
• Communicate with members and create a high level of member service.
• Stock retail and janitorial items for the following shift.
• Understand and adhere to company standards and help resolve day-to-day member issues.
• Audit club inventory and communicate recommendations of inventory orders.
