Job summary

Gates Mills Assisted Living is seeking a Weekend Receptionist to greet residents and guests, manage calls, and support front desk operations from 8AM to 4PM on weekends. The role requires friendly, compassionate service and the ability to handle inquiries with professionalism.

The ideal candidate will have strong English communication skills, basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook), and a positive, servant-hearted attitude toward seniors and their families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in the English language.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, staff and guests.
• Answer and triage all incoming telephone calls professionally.
• Operate basic computer programs including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Assist with inquiry calls and tours.
• Present a neat, professional appearance at all times.
• Monitor the front lobby for safety and security.
