Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc in Hillsboro, Oregon is seeking a Forklift Operator to support our weekend day shift (Thu-Sat, 6:15am–6:30pm). You will operate powered industrial lift trucks, load/unload trailers and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Responsibilities include using handheld scanners, inbound receiving, and following the 7S and quality policies. You should have 1 year warehouse experience and be trained/certified to operate forklifts; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed.
• 1 year of warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment and materials
• Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy
• Load and unload trailers as needed
• Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment at all times
• Display a commitment to process excellence
• Demonstrate an understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy
• Perform inbound receiving processes
