Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator for the Afternoon Shift (4:00pm–12:00am) in Portland, TN. You’ll operate powered industrial lift trucks, scan items with handheld devices, and help load/unload trailers to support efficient warehouse operations.

We value accuracy, teamwork, and a commitment to safety. Training and certification in lift truck operation are provided; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed.
• 1 year of warehouse experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to move product and materials.
• Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy.
• Load and unload trailers as needed.
• Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment at all times.
• Demonstrate commitment to process excellence and understand the Supply Chain quality policy.
• Perform inbound receiving processes and basic data entry.
