Job description

Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Park Nursing Home is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to join the Food and Nutrition Services Team. The role involves planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and supervising functions within the dietary department of this rehabilitation center and skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities:

  1. Direct the overall operation of Food and Nutrition Services on weekends.
  2. Ensure that quality nutritional services are provided timely and accurately based on resident diet tickets.
  3. Maintain department cleanliness in a safe and sanitary manner, in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
  4. Complete all food inventories and ensure that refrigerators, freezers, and food temperatures are checked and recorded.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a hospital or long-term care (LTC) facility as a food service supervisor.
  • Must be ServSafe or Local Food Handlers certified; CDM certification is highly preferred.
