Job summary

Seneca Foods is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic-Cambria West to maintain and repair food processing equipment at our Cambria facility. You will perform repairs during production to meet goals and overhaul plant equipment during off-production periods to prepare for the next run.

Responsibilities include inspecting and maintaining machinery, troubleshooting, installing equipment, and keeping accurate PM records. A team-focused, safety-conscious mindset is essential.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair and maintain machinery and equipment across the facility.
• Troubleshoot, repair and replace machinery as required.
• Ensure processing equipment operates to meet production targets.
• Design, fabricate and install equipment as required.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and PM completed.
• Monitor equipment operation and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain proper housekeeping.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Operate machinery and tools in a safe manner.
• Ensure GMPs and safety rules are followed and enforced.
• Other duties as required or assigned by Management.

Maintenance Mechanic-Cambria West

Assigned mechanical job duties to maintain and repair food processing equipment. Completes repairs during the processing season to meet production goals. Overhaul and install plant equipment during non-production periods to be ready for the next scheduled production run.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, repair and maintain machinery, and equipment throughout the facility
• Trouble shoot, repair, and replace machinery as required
• Ensure processing equiment operates to meet production targets
• Design, fabricate, and install equipment as required
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and PM completed
• Monitor equipment operation making any necessary adjustments
• Maintain proper houskeeping
• Maintain a safe working enviroment
• Operate machinery and tools in a safe manner
• Ensure that GMP’s (General manufacturing Practices), safety rules and regulations are being followed and enforced
• Other duties as required or assigned by Management
