The role involves solving complex engineering problems on fielded systems, documenting findings, and coordinating with engineers, management, and customers. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, extensive experience, and the ability to obtain DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, master's or PhD in engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of engineering experience with a bachelor's, or 2+ years with a master's.
• Broad understanding of multi-disciplinary engineering concepts and core practices.
• Proficient technical writing skills; strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.
• Willingness to work weekend shifts and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Be able to work a weekend shift with an on-call schedule.
• Perform investigations of anomalies and develop corrective actions for fielded systems.
• Coordinate with design, test, program management, and maintenance staff to implement workarounds and updates.
• Document findings in memorandums and customer communications within deadlines.
• Lead and direct design staff and technicians as needed.
