Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring Facility Drivers for weekend shifts at our Cambridge, MD location. You will safely transport clients for admits, discharges, and appointments, while collecting and delivering documentation and lab specimens.

Role requires a valid driver’s license, good communication, and reliability. You’ll help with custodial tasks when not actively transporting and support maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (preferred)
• Minimum 1 year experience in treatment industry preferred
• Current and valid state driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients for admit, discharge and appointments
• Collect and deliver external appointment documentation and lab specimens
• Engage clients at peer support level during transport and assist with luggage
• Ensure vehicle is well-maintained and fueled
• Assist with custodial and maintenance duties when not transporting
