Job summary

The City of Garden City is seeking a Facilities Weekend Manager to oversee operational safety and security of parks and recreation facilities, including athletic, aquatic, and indoor spaces.

This role requires an independent, customer‑focused individual to supervise weekend hours (Friday–Sunday) and designated weekdays to complete a full 40‑hour week, ensuring high-quality recreational environments for residents and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in recreation management, facility operations, public park systems, or an aquatics environment preferred.
• Must possess a valid Georgia Driver's license with an acceptable driving history.
• First Aid and CPR certifications.

Job description

The Facilities Weekend Manager is responsible for the operational oversight, safety, and security of Garden City Parks and Recreation athletic, aquatic, and indoor facilities.
