Job summary

Walters Wedding Estates in Milestone Montgomery is seeking enthusiastic Banquet Servers to join our team. You will set up banquet spaces, greet guests, and serve plated or buffet meals with a focus on memorable celebrations.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of banquet/host experience, hold a Texas TABC and Food Handler license, and can lift 30 lbs while standing long hours. Part-time weekends with competitive hourly pay and a 401(k) match are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least 1 year in a similar role with comparable responsibilities preferred.
• Education: Texas licenses (TABC) and Food Handlers required.
• Physical: Able to lift 30 lbs frequently, stand/walk 8-12 hours.
• Other: Background check, valid driver’s license and transportation, U.S. work eligibility (E-Verify).

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet areas according to event specifications on the BEO.
• Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Serve plated and buffet meals and beverages.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and anticipate needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized event space throughout the event.
• Execute closing duties and store equipment.
• Collaborate with culinary and planning teams for seamless execution.
• Work with fellow servers to provide efficient service.
