Job summary

Pinnacle Multicare Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Security Guard Per Diem to join our security team in The Bronx, New York. This weekend evening position requires vigilance to protect patients, staff, and visitors while delivering courteous, professional service.

As a member of the security staff, you will monitor facilities, respond to emergencies, report incidents, and collaborate with local authorities as needed, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior security experience preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol healthcare facility to prevent and detect security breaches
• Respond to emergency situations and prioritize the safety of patients, staff, and visitors
• Identify and report potential security threats or suspicious activities
• Collaborate with law enforcement and other security personnel as needed
• Conduct routine checks of security cameras, alarms, and other surveillance systems
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and staff
• Maintain accurate records of security incidents and responses
