Job summary

Veekoo Restaurants in Berwyn, PA is seeking friendly hosts/hostesses for part-time shifts. Qualifications

• 1 year of hosting experience required.
• Must be 16 years or older.
• Availability to work weekend evenings and public holidays.
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet all guests upon arrival.
• Answer phones, manage reservations, and take/relay messages.
• Input phone and online orders into POS system.
• Process gift cards.
• Provide waiting time estimates when seating is limited.
• Seat guests when tables become available.
• Maintain a professional, courteous attitude with impatient guests.
• Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible.
• Relay guest notes to servers, kitchen and managers as needed.
• Ensure the front of the restaurant (entrance hallway/doors) are clear of trash, swept and windows are clean.
• Clean menus of food and stains.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant, opening and closing as directed.
