The Janitor keeps the premises of the office building or other commercial or institutional buildings in clean and orderly conditions. Cleans office areas, classrooms, hallways, lobbies, breakrooms/cafeterias, restrooms, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other assigned work areas.

Moderate to Hard Physical Work - is regularly required to walk and frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Can manage frequent exposure to dust, dirt, debris, and dust particles in the air. Will be regularly exposed to slippery floors and the moving mechanical parts of floor cleaning equipment. The noise level is generally low. Visual Acuity - Has close and distance vision abilities and is able to adjust focus.
