Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking a vigilant security officer for weekend shifts, offering a 12-hour Saturday/Sunday schedule (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). The role involves monitoring premises, ensuring doors and gates work properly, and promptly reporting issues.

No prior experience is required, and training is provided. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent customer service, communicates clearly via handheld radio, and remains reliable in a dynamic indoor/outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to obtain a DSPS Private Security Person license.
• Must participate in pre-employment screening including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations.
• Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
• Report any facility issues.
• Request emergency personnel for high risk situations.
