Job summary

Community Horizons in Wisconsin is seeking a reliable, compassionate evening caregiver to provide companionship and support to a very sweet gentleman with a great sense of humor.

This role offers around 3 hours per week, Friday or Saturday from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, at $17.25–$21.78 per hour. Responsibilities include conversation, supervision, meal/snack setup, and light personal care as needed, with respite for his wife.

Qualifications

• Dependable, trustworthy and able to commit to scheduled shifts.
• Patient, caring, and compassionate demeanor.
• Comfortable assisting with light personal care as needed.
• Friendly and able to carry on conversation with an elder.
• Comfortable around dogs and cats in the home.

Responsibilities

• Provide evening companionship and conversation.
• Offer supervision and support as needed.
• Assist with meal/snack setup and light household tasks.
• Assist with personal care as needed.
• Provide respite for spouse.
