Job summary

Unity Hospice WI is seeking a Caregiver to provide compassionate support to clients in Wisconsin. The role involves assisting with activities of daily living, offering companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, socialization, and safe transportation.

Schedule includes morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend hours, roughly 10–15 hours per week, with every other weekend required and consistent weekly hours. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $25.50 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Previous caregiving, homemaking or personal care work preferred but not required.
• CNA or Personal Care Worker experience preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Activities of Daily Living/Personal Cares.
• Housekeeping Services/laundry.
• Homemaker services/Meal preparation.
• Socialization/companionship.
• Errands/provide incidental transportation.
• Maintain required competencies and skills.
• Report changes in client conditions or family situation immediately to the appropriate individual(s).
• Consistently and concisely document activity according to Care Companions' protocols and Standards.
• Comply with all applicable local, State, and Federal laws and regulations as well as policies and procedures of Unity.
• Satisfy mandatory training requirements regarding local, state, and federal regulations and/or Unity’s policies and procedures.
• Promote and maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain personal and professional boundaries.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
