Great Bay Staffing Group seeks an experienced Emergency Medicine NP or PA for a weekend-only position in Florida's Lake Okeechobee region. This permanent 1099 contractor role emphasizes autonomy and high-quality care in a hospital setting.

Eligible candidates bring NP/PA credentials, Florida licensure (or eligibility), and active ACLS/BLS/PALS with 2+ years of ED experience. Enjoy a flexible weekend schedule with competitive hourly compensation in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program.
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience as an APP.
• Active Florida NP/PA license or eligibility.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Deliver emergency medical care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and treatment planning in a fast-paced ED.
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and EKGs.
• Perform emergency procedures within scope and hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with ED physicians, nursing staff and healthcare teams.
• Document encounters in the EMR and provide discharge instructions.
