Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join a Lake Okeechobee area hospital. You will provide high-quality care in a collaborative environment on 12-hour shifts, with a permanent 1099 position that supports continuity of care for patients in southern Florida.

Eligible for Florida medical licensure; board-certified/board-eligible in EM, FM, or IM with ED experience; required ATLS/ACLS/BLS/PALS. Malpractice and tail insurance provided, with Florida's tax advantages.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in EM, FM, or IM with ED experience.
• Florida license or eligibility.
• ATLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS required for MD/DO; ATLS preferred for APP.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency medicine care.
• Work 12-hour shifts in a hospital setting.
• Collaborate with APPs during patient transitions (11a–8p).
• Maintain licensure eligibility and participate in ongoing care.
