Job summary

Astronics AES is seeking a Production Test Technician for the Weekend Shift in Redmond, WA. The role runs Friday through Sunday, 5:30 am to 6:30 pm, with 36 hours paid for 40.

You will test assembled parts using precision instruments and ensure quality and safety per procedures. The ideal candidate holds an AS in Electronics Technology or related field, with experience in high-power electronics or avionics a plus.

Qualifications

• AS in Electronics Technology or related field, or equivalent electronics military schooling and experience.
• High-power electronics or avionics experience may substitute formal education.

Responsibilities

• Set up, test and troubleshoot circuits, components, instruments, and assemblies.
• Test and troubleshoot less complex assemblies and final systems.
• Assist in rework on assemblies and systems after testing.
• Prepare reports summarizing findings.
• Assist in set-up of specialized test equipment.
• Monitor and adjust production processes for quality and productivity.
• Read blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and instructions for assembling electronics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
