Eaton is seeking an Electrical Technician I for the Arden, NC facility on a weekend shift. The role focuses on final inspection and functional testing of Eaton products, using test plans, electrical testing, and troubleshooting to ensure correct function before shipping.

The position requires interpreting schematics and diagrams, with a Friday-Sunday 7am–7pm schedule. A high school diploma and 2 years in power/electrical distribution are expected, with no immigration sponsorship offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in power distribution or electrical distribution.
• Able to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• No immigration sponsorship or relocation offered; within 50 miles of Arden, NC.

Responsibilities

• Set up, inspect, and test equipment following instructions and drawings.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, insulation, and sequence testing of assemblies.
• Troubleshoot test failures, identify root causes, and coordinate actions with Engineering/Quality.
• Verify customer orders and support inspectors during testing and inspection.
• Suggest improvements to procedures and maintain calibration records.
• Maintain safety practices and test equipment documentation.
