Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC's Green Bay Packerland facility is seeking an Electrical Mechanical Technician to work a 36-hour weekend shift, Friday through Sunday, in maintenance. The role requires safe work practices, troubleshooting web processing equipment, and precision maintenance of manufacturing equipment.

You will diagnose and repair electrical systems up to 480V 3-phase, service motors and drives, read schematics, and perform planned, preventive, and corrective maintenance.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or apprenticeship in electro-mechanical tech.
• Industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental policies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems up to 480V 3-phase.
• Diagnose and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment in packaging lines.
• Troubleshoot and repair motors, motor starters, drives, and PLCs.
• Use ladder logic, schematics, and testing equipment to identify issues.
• Repair and replace motors, bearings, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and drives.
• Perform planned, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities.
