Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist 1 to perform test setup and electrode application under supervision, ensuring patient safety and accurate data acquisition for EEG testing at Temple Memorial inpatient location.

The role requires HS diploma/GED, BLS certification within 30 days, and strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills to support high-quality patient care and reliable diagnostic testing.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Less than 1 year of experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and perform data acquisition for EEG testing.
• Maintain patient safety during testing and supervision.
• Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines and protect patient privacy.
• Troubleshoot and maintain testing equipment and setup.
• Be available for On Call as assigned.
