Job summary

Merakey in Hershey, PA is hiring a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, meal prep, and community engagement. No experience required – paid training is provided, and you’ll join a compassionate team supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Weekend double shifts 7am-11pm offer opportunities to build skills, with benefits including DailyPay, health benefits, and career development.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• High School diploma/G.E.D. preferred.
• Related direct care experience (DSP, CAN, HHA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
• Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills.
• Provide community support, transportation.
• Promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support (as trained).
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs.
