Job summary

Brooklyn Bark in New York is seeking a dependable Weekend Dog Walker to join our professional team. This part-time, W-2 position includes PTO and 401(k) benefits, plus paid training and ongoing education on dog and cat behavior.

You will lead 30–60 minute walks, supervise active play, and log notes or photos for clients. Availability on Saturdays and Sundays, ability to commute to Brooklyn, and a genuine love of pets are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with dogs/cats is a plus but not required
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather
• Smartphone with data plan for updates and photos

Responsibilities

• Prepare dogs for outdoor walks with appropriate safety gear
• Lead 30–60 minute walks and active play
• Administer food, water, or medication per client instructions
• Clean up after pets indoors and outdoors as needed
• Send updates/photos and log behavior or health notes
• Build strong rapport with pets and their owners
