Job summary

Responsibilities include cleaning, dishwashing, transporting food, and maintaining a safe, sanitary kitchen environment for residents. Flexible scheduling and competitive compensation are offered in a supportive team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean equipment and surfaces according to department procedures.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
• Remove trash and garbage to disposal areas and clean trash containers.
• Operate dish machine, compactor and garbage disposal.
• Complete dish machine temperature log and cleaning list log.
• Assure safe and sanitary use of all cleaning agents.
• Transport food to and from floors.
• Break-up cardboard and transport supplies to designated areas as required.
• Remain current with all Human Resource assignments, Mantoux, etc.
• Provide the people we serve with clear opportunities to direct their own lives and decide how they will spend their day.
• Ensure a safe environment for residents and utilize tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Report all hazardous conditions including incidents, injuries, and equipment to the appropriate Supervisor immediately.
