Job summary

Easter Seals Tennessee Inc is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to help people with disabilities in their homes and communities. You will support daily activities, meals, hygiene, and medication administration, while promoting independence and meaningful involvement in community activities.

We offer weekend shifts (6 AM–6 PM or 6 PM–6 AM), starting at $15/hour, a tenure pay scale, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits including health insurance and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have valid automobile insurance.
• Pass a background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide caregiver assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals in the community.
• Support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to enhance quality of life.
