Job summary

Merakey is hiring Direct Support Professionals for on-site weekend double shifts in Middletown, PA. Pay rate starts at $16.25 per hour, with an additional $2 per hour under Enhanced Pay.

Training is provided, no prior experience required, as we offer paid training to help you start a meaningful career in human services. The role focuses on assisting individuals with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, and community engagement while ensuring safety and documentation of progress.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• High School diploma/G.E.D. Preferred.
• Related direct care experience (DSP, CAN, HHA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
• Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills.
• Provide community support, transportation.
• Promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support (as trained).
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs.
