Job summary

AEDD, Inc. in Cabot, AR invites a Direct Support Professional to join a male group home setting. This Saturday/Sunday shift (8 am–8 pm) starts at $15.00 per hour, negotiable by education and experience.

You will support individuals with developmental disabilities, assist with daily routines, and promote independence and community participation. The role is safety-sensitive and requires a valid Arkansas driver’s license, background check, and drug screening.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of relevant experience in health, human services, or community services; or two years of verifiable experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Arkansas driver’s license and auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in developing essential life skills, health and hygiene, and independent living tasks.
• Foster a positive, respectful home and community environment.
• Assist with daily routines as per the Medicaid Waiver Person-Centered Service Plan.
• Help individuals engage with the community through activities and appointments.
• Provide safe transportation using your own vehicle (must meet state insurance requirements).
• Maintain records of consumer expenses and document progress.
