Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Direct Support Professional for Saturday & Sunday 9:00am-5:00pm in Springfield, VA. You will support individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges to live with dignity and independence, in a team-focused environment.

The role includes hands-on care, documentation, medication administration per policy, and community engagement. Training is provided; a valid driver’s license may be required for some shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with acceptable driving history.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect.
• Assist with personal care including dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing.
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress.
• Administer medications in accordance with policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Encourage community engagement and participation.
