Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Washington. This full-time role supports adults with developmental disabilities in daily living activities, including personal care, meals, hygiene, and community engagement. Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to transport clients in own vehicle.

Shifts are Friday through Sunday, 6:45am–7:00pm. The role requires completion of Nurse Delegation study and eventual Nurse Assistant Registered (NAR) status, with

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Background check required for all applicants.
• Must have a valid in-state driver’s license and be able to provide current car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with developmental disabilities in daily living activities.
• Support with dietary, hygiene, grooming and dressing needs.
• Redirect behaviors with activities as needed to promote engagement.
• Provide care in line with Individual Instruction and Support Plan (IISP).
• Ensure daily needs are met, including personal hygiene, meal prep, house cleaning, and health monitoring.
