Job summary

Lifesteps Butler Center in Butler, PA is seeking Direct Care Aides to support adults with disabilities in a residential home setting. No experience required; paid training provided. Evenings 3 pm to 11 pm, with additional part-time hours and full-time options available.

Responsibilities include daily living support, meal prep, grooming, transportation, and light housework, along with medication reminders and community activities. Lifting up to 200 lbs with assistance is required.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with daily living activities including dressing and grooming
• Prepare and serve meals and assist with household tasks
• Assist with transportation to doctor appointments
• Support medication administration as directed
• Participate in community outings and activities

Direct Care Aides(Caregivers) assist special needs individuals with their activities of daily living and home care. The direct care aide provides assistance to adults with disabilities helping them with daily activities like dressing, meal preparation, bathing, and transport to doctor appointments.
