Lifesteps Inc. is hiring Direct Care Aides to work with adults who have disabilities in a residential home setting in Butler, PA. Full-time roles offer evening or overnight shifts with flexible scheduling.

No prior experience is required; paid training is provided. You will assist with daily living activities such as dressing, meal preparation, grooming, and transport to appointments, plus participate in community outings.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs with assistance.
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) for adults with disabilities.
• Provide personal care, grooming, bathing, and meal assistance.
• Assist with transportation to doctor appointments and community outings.
• Support daily living activities such as dressing, cooking, cleaning, and shopping.

Lifesteps, a local, human service agency that has been in business for over 100 years, is hiring compassionate and caring staff to work with adults who have disabilities in a residential home setting in Butler, PA.

Direct Care Aides (Caregivers) assist special needs individuals with their activities of daily living and home care. The direct care aide provides assistance to adults with disabilities helping them with daily activities like dressing, meal preparation, bathing, and transport to doctor appointments.

Duties can include:

• Cooking and serving meals
• Cleaning the house
• Shopping for groceries and supplies
• Personal care assistance like grooming or bathing
• Medication administration
• Community Outings and fun activities
• Individual goal attainment assistance

Lifesteps offers steady, full-time hours! Available Shifts are: Evenings 3 pm to 11 pm OR Overnight Shifts 11 pm to 7 am.

Part-time hours are also available with flexible scheduling to fit your needs. Great for additional income or a second job.

No experience necessary! Paid training provided!

Experienced home health aides, nurse’s aides, support assistants, and direct support professionals welcome!
