Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a part-time weekend dishwasher to support dining services in our Vancouver, WA community. You will help maintain a clean dining area, assist servers and kitchen staff, and ensure timely dishwashing while upholding safety and sanitation guidelines.

Ideal candidates have a positive attitude, good communication, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, senior-focused setting.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is a plus, but not required.
• No experience necessary – entry-level welcome.
• Previous experience in a hospitality or dining environment is a plus.
• A positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with seniors.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of the dining room, including floors and service stations.
• Clean dishes in a timely and restock service stations
• Operate commercial dishwashing machines properly and safely
• Support overall dining room operations and communicate resident needs to servers or supervisors.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Provide friendly and respectful service to all residents, guests, and staff.
