Job summary

PCSI is seeking a Dining Facility Attendant on Ft. Hood to perform routine custodial and cleaning duties in the dining facility, including washing dishes, loading/unloading, and maintaining a clean environment for patrons and staff.

This part-time weekend position offers base pay of $18.28 per hour, plus uniform allowances and shift differential after 1:00 PM, with health, pension and other benefits. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and be able to lift up to 60 pounds.

Qualifications

• Ability to use general cleaning equipment (mop, broom, vacuum, duster, pail, buffer).
• Read and follow dilution rates for cleaning chemicals (SDS).
• Maintain equipment in good condition and work safely.
• Capable of lifting 10–60 lb; occasionally 100 lb; long walking periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine custodial/cleaning tasks to keep the facility clean.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils; operate dishwasher.
• Sweep and mop floors; may use floor buffer; strip/seal floors as needed.
• Dispose of garbage and manage waste.
• Follow cleaning SOPs with designated processes and equipment.
