Job summary

VERSANT Media seeks an Associate Digital Platforms Producer for MS NOW to cover the weekend primetime shift, producing across linear, digital, streaming and D2C platforms. You will craft headlines, collaborate on video content, and curate a lively mix of stories for homepage and social distribution.

You will work with editorial teams, apply strong journalistic judgment, and monitor analytics to guide programming decisions, with the role requiring Washington, D.C.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years production or editorial experience.
• Knowledge of current events, U.S. politics, geopolitics and history.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented and able to meet multiple daily deadlines.
• Experience with social media editorial or publishing.
• Experience editing video for social platforms.

Responsibilities

• Work across MS NOW platforms to create and curate content aligned with the brand identity.
• Write eye-catching and accurate headlines to spark engagement.
• Collaborate with show producers on video editorial content for platforms.
• Curate homepage, app and social content with a lively mix of content.
• Distribute content across partner platforms like Apple News, SmartNews and Flipboard.
• Assist in production and editing of video and text content across owned and social platforms.
• A/B test headlines and story packaging on MS.now.
• Monitor analytics to inform programming decisions.
