• Proficiency with Meal Tracker or similar dietary management software.
• Nursing home experience preferred and physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and supervise all Food Services Department activities.
• Coordinate food service with Nursing, Environmental Services, Activities, and Social Services.
• Interpret and communicate policies to staff, residents, visitors, and regulators.
• Oversee staff performance, scheduling, and compliance with standards.
• Ensure timely preparation of meals according to cycle menus.
• Complete administrative duties: reports, evaluations, inventories.
• Participate in inspections and maintain health and safety compliance.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in food prep and storage areas.
• Implement and monitor safety and inventory control for food and equipment.
