Job summary

US Conec, Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector for the Friday to Sunday day shift (6am–6pm) to inspect plastic parts and ensure they meet engineering and quality standards.

You will document findings and support containment and cross-departmental collaboration to maintain product integrity. Responsibilities include selecting inspection samples, recording concerns in the Quality Advisement system, and using the Nonconformance system to hold suspect parts until disposition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to carry out simple instructions and handle standardized situations with minimal variability.
• Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities, exhibit objectivity and openness to others’ views, give and welcome feedback.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Effective communication skills with ability to collaborate well in group settings.

Responsibilities

• Pull inspection samples, based on the predetermined frequency of inspection.
• Visually examine inspection samples for physical concerns, as outlined in the Standard Process Instructions.
• Document concerns within the Quality Advisement system and notify the necessary parties to ensure the concern is addressed in a timely manner.
• As necessary, aid in running containment for quality concerns.
• Utilize the Nonconformance system to place suspect parts on hold, until they can be reviewed for further disposition.
