Utz Brands, Inc. in Hanover, PA is seeking a Pretzel Operator I for the Weekend Day Shift (Friday to Sunday, 5:25 AM – 5:25 PM). You will operate pretzel dough mixers, monitor dough quality, and ensure production standards in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting.

You will weigh pretzels, log extruder speeds, monitor stock, and maintain a clean area while following safety procedures. Training of three months and ability to lift up to 40 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Three months of training cover basic operations and quality awareness.
• Strong basic math and reading skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate pretzel dough mixers, ensuring dough quality and texture meet standards.
• Weigh raw pretzels every 30 minutes and record extruder speeds/pressure.
• Monitor ingredient stock and maintain a clean, sanitary work area.
• Identify and report mechanical issues and machinery wear to leadership.
• Log operation records and track inventory using handheld scanner.
• Substitute for other processing operators as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and communicate any safety concerns.
• Work proactively in a cross-functional team and communicate production information to other shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
