Job summary

Utz Quality Foods is seeking a dedicated Pretzel Operator I to join our Hanover, PA team on the Weekend Day Shift. The role runs Friday to Sunday 5:25 AM - 5:25 PM, with tasks including dough mixing, weighing, and routine quality checks.

You will operate mixers, monitor ingredients, record data, and collaborate across shifts while upholding safety and cleanliness. Forklift certification and ability to lift heavy weights may be required.

Qualifications

Basic reading, writing and math skills required.
Knowledge of barrel filling lines, rod machine and labelers.
Able to lift up to 80 lbs.
Forklift license required.

Responsibilities

Prepare and operate pretzel dough mixers, ensuring dough quality and texture meet standards.
Weigh raw pretzels every 30 minutes and record extruder speeds/pressure.
Monitor ingredient stock and maintain a clean, sanitary work area.
Identify and report mechanical issues and machinery wear to leadership.
Log operation records and track inventory using handheld scanner.
Substitute for other processing operators as needed.
Follow safety protocols and communicate any safety concerns.
Work proactively in a cross-functional team and communicate production information to other shifts.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
