Job summary

Ngroup, Inc. in Indiana seeks a General Laborer to move freight and materials, arrange totes, and operate equipment in a fast-paced setting. The role requires standing for eight or more hours, lifting and pushing with pallet jacks, and working overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed.

You will use scanners, labels, and conveyors, following SOPs and quality standards. Candidates should communicate well and stay organized on the dock or production floor.

Qualifications

• GED/High School Diploma and/or prior experience helpful.
• Ability to follow and comprehend instructions from leadership.
• Ability to multitask and work within prescribed standards.
• Ability to use, lift, pull, or push assigned equipment including pallet-jacks.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to stand and use hands for eight plus hours per day.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Good hand and eye coordination required.
• Ability to work close to other associates at some stations.

Responsibilities

• Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas.
• Arrange totes and products neatly at workstation.
• Processes product using tools to include box cutter, pallet jack, and other equipment assigned.
• Use handheld scanning device to scan barcodes on products.
• Carry out necessary procedures to process units, including applying labels when required.
• Scan products and place them in appropriate containers for respective channels.
• Execute product refinement in line with established operating protocols and ensure adherence to expected standards of quality and quantity.
• Safely load full totes of products onto the conveyor, following SOP producers.
• Picking and packing of products.
• Ability to conduct any other non-specialized tasks as needed.
• Clean and maintain an organized work area.
