Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Indiana is hiring a PIT Operator to support our growing warehouse operations.

You will operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers, load and unload trailers, and maintain a clean, safe work area in line with the 7S standards. The role requires certification to operate lift trucks and a willingness to work a flexible weekend schedule (Saturday, Sunday, Monday, 6:00am–6:00pm).

Qualifications

• Must be trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment and materials.
• Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy.
• Load and unload trailers as needed.
• Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment at all times.
• Display a commitment to process excellence.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy.
• Perform inbound receiving processes.
