Job summary

A-dec, a leading company in the dental industry, seeks an entry-level machinist to operate simple machinery and support fabrication tasks under close supervision.

You will set up and run secondary machinery, perform routine maintenance, and follow safety and quality procedures while contributing to a collaborative team.

No previous machining experience required; manufacturing experience is a plus, and on-the-job training is provided to help you grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow written and oral instructions.
• Must learn to use precision measuring tools within 180 days.
• Able to interpret job-related blueprints and work instructions within 180 days.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time and resources effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operates machines and tools under supervision with PPE.
• Performs parts finishing, deburring, and cleaning.
• Reads blueprints and works instructions to produce parts.
• Inspects parts to quality standards and completes required documentation.
• Maintains TPM through lubrication and cleaning of equipment.
• Assists in setup of secondary machinery and polish equipment.
