UPMC North Central Pa. is seeking a CT Technologist for a Weekend Program with a 2-year commitment. The role offers a 48-weekend-per-year schedule, no on-call requirements, and a 15% pay differential.

The technician will perform advanced CT imaging, manage contrast procedures, and contribute to high-quality patient care in a collaborative setting. Qualified candidates will have an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT certification, CT certification (or eligibility), and at least six

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification required.
• CT certification or eligibility preferred.
• Minimum of six months CT experience.
• Strong technical, communication, and patient-care skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT procedures using established protocols and contrast administration.
• Operate advanced CT equipment for image acquisition, analysis, reconstruction, and documentation.
• Adjust protocols with clinical judgment to obtain optimal images.
• Document patient information and ensure accurate imaging records in RIS/PACS.
• Ensure proper coding, tracking, and charging of exams.
• Provide compassionate patient care by explaining procedures and easing concerns.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and team members to support patient care.
