Job summary

UofL Health, Inc. is seeking a Weekend CT Technologist for Shelbyville Hospital to perform CT scans with accuracy and safety. The role involves preparing patients, administering contrast per policy, and supporting radiologists in complex exams.

The ideal candidate will have a JRC-approved radiologic program, ARRT registration, and KY Radiation Operators certification; CT certification is preferred and must be obtained within 12 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRC approved program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered with ARRT; KY Radiation Operators certification.
• CT Certification preferred at time of hire but required within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans according to established protocols with accuracy.
• Assist radiologist with CT examinations and contrast administration.
• Maintain radiation safety practices and patient identification.
• Educate patients pre/post exam and document exams in system.
• Train new personnel and participate in department meetings.
