Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a per diem CT Technologist to operate CT equipment, work with RIS/PACS, and support radiology workflow. The role covers weekend shifts and requires NYS Radiologic Technology licensure, ARRT certification, and hospital experience.

The ideal candidate will contribute to accurate imaging, patient safety, and collaboration with radiologists and a supervisor to uphold NYP’s standard of care.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of approved school of Radiology.
• New York State License in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment and apply knowledge of RIS, PACS, and data transfer processes under the direction of a radiologist and supervision of a department supervisor.
• Maintain high quality imaging to support diagnosis of conditions.
• Ensure safety and comfort of patients during CT procedures.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and adherence to protocols.
